Winding
Our winding technology is the ideal solution for the production of solenoid valves, relays, transformers, antenna coils and loudspeaker coils.
Due to the modular process structures, our winding technology is also optimally suited for many special winding tasks, such as centrifuge windings, hollow capillary and flyer windings.
Round wire
In the last few years, we have been increasingly approached by our customers about round wire winding. This motivated us to develop the modular HWS-3000 and HWS-4000 multi-spindle winding machines. In particular, in conjunction with further automation and processing steps, such as bending, stripping, embossing and testing processes as well as integration and interlinking with other LJU products, e.g. the robot cells and rotary indexing tables.

Upright flat wire
Flat wire winding is one of our core areas of competence, which we can optimally expand with further automation and processing steps, e.g. bending, stripping, embossing and testing processes as well as integration and interlinking with other LJU products, e.g. the robot cells and rotary indexing tables.

Centreless coils
The winding of centreless coils at highest precision can be carried out on our UWM, HWM etc. type winding machines.
Here, too, we offer our customers not just a winding machine, but an overall concept.
For example, special coils in the acoustic and automotive sectors are not only wound in the correct position, but also baked, glued, bent, stripped, soldered, welded, measured and/or further processed inline or offline.
But also simple centreless coils, e.g. trip coils with and without bends, can be produced efficiently with optimised cycle times on standard machines.

Bi-metallic coils
For many years, LJU has been optimally positioned for the winding of bi-metallic coils with the UWM 8000-Bi. This machine can be supplied as a manual operator version or as a fully automatic version with belt system and interlinking to follow-on processes, automatic insulating jacket, as well as embossing, welding and palletising.

Special applications
Special applications represent a particular strength in the field of winding technology. Here, we benefit from over 20 years of experience and a modular construction system for winding components. This has enabled us to successfully realise many new applications in the medical, automotive and consumer sectors.
LJU Sondermaschinenbau GmbH has been able to gain a lot of experience through demanding winding tasks in the field of capillaries and Bourdon springs and has thus been able to develop corresponding machines for well-known manufacturers of measuring technology.
A particular strength of our winding systems lies in their flexibility. Special windings in a wide variety of designs are possible; the customer advantage here is the internal linking of all subsequent processes, e.g. fitting of core assemblies, soldering, welding, bending and finishing as well as various testing processes including palletising.
One of our special solutions is the winding system for the medical sector, for example our system for winding and soldering copper tubes on stainless steel pots used in the production of centrifuges. The simultaneous winding and joining of the copper tubes on the centrifuge pots without leaving annealing colouration on the inside was the special challenge here.

BWS 4000
The fully automatic bending and winding system BWS 4000 is used for the production of flat wire wound coils in upright design. The coils can be manufactured in a wide variety of geometries and shapes.

HWM 1000
High-performance table winding machines with infinitely programmable speeds up to 16,000 rpm was developed for special applications in winding technology.
HWS 3000‐2/4
It is characterised by particularly consistent quality of the wound products. Easy handling and the modular design make this machine an excellent production tool.
HWS 4000‐4/8
This generation of new winding machines is characterised by the highest winding quality with flexible spindle numbers and spacing. The simple macro programming combined with the extensive modular set-up makes this machine a highly flexible production tool.
