As with all devices from MacGregor, the welding monitoring is also integrated here. The dynamic parameters dependent upon the process, such as voltage or current, are shown on the colour monitor in the form of a welding curve. The average profile determined from a number of good welds can serve as the basis for a freely programmable envelope curve and is therefore ideally suited to process monitoring.
HF DC welding technology
The m3 is a HF direct current control unit for the highest demands, which combines all the known advantages of linear direct current devices with the advantages of compactness and performance.
With the user-friendly operator interface, three different constant regulation types can be selected.
Depending on the energy demand, the switching frequency (25 – 100 kHz) and thus the control speed are automatically adjusted. This means high flexibility and repeat accuracy over a larger energy range.
A large colour monitor presents all process-related values in graphical and numerical form, including error messages.
The process variables (voltage and current) and even the electrode penetration can be monitored with a freely programmable envelope curve.
Device optionally in 1-phase or 3-phase design
Because of the modular structure, MacGregor offers an appropriate solution for the broadest range of applications, whether manual workstation or semi/full automation.
An integrated spring system, low mass and low-play guides guarantee optimal readjusting behaviour, even with the shortest welding times.
